While studying in National School of Interior Design, Rajkot we had an opportunity to explore various regions of other creative fields. One such being photography and film making.
Almost into our 4th semester in 2013, we made our very first film "Don't drink and drive". With zero production budget, khud ka camera, khud ki gaadi aur beer ki bottle. It was shot by Dhrupad on his Canon 650D with me as an actor and editor of the film. We had no knowledge of film making, no prior experience of shooting or editing and I hardly knew Adobe Premiere Pro.
The idea of sharing this video and writing this blog is to tell you that according to me the greatest benefit of being in any institution is not just what your course is intend to teach you and what you going to learn out of it. It's more about how you look at other opportunities within. Sometimes one door opens to another and so on.
For us being in design college not only led us to the field of film making and visual arts but it also allowed us to meet like minded people, faculties and collaborators.
"Dont Drink and Drive" , 2013. by Bhavik K, Dhrupad Shukla, Meet Trivedi and Yash Patel.
